WAG In The News: The Art of the Development – Midway’s Innovative Program Brings Creative Color

Houston-based Midway is a real estate investment and development firm that approached WAG to curate fresh and engaging rotating and permanent programs at several of their properties around the Houston metro area. We have worked with them and several area partners such as Aurora Picture Show, Sawyer Yards, as well as bringing dynamic and innovative installations to their programs from artists like Danish duo Foo/Skou.

Midway knows the impact art can have and understands it’s important to consider this from the beginning. Shannon Bedinger, Midway’s Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications, writes “One of our art program’s unique features is we start the investigation and exploratory process for each project within the underwriting phase of development”.
