The beautifully designed publication titled “On Site: 50 years of Public Art of the University of Houston System” was launched with a goal to create a hardback book celebrating the first 50 years of the University of Houston’s 700+ artwork collection. Weingarten Art Group crafted the content strategy, drafted a request for proposals, and ran the committee process from project initiation to publication. Managing 40 writing contributors, professional photography, book design, publication, and ultimately a book launch event with related marketing and programming. This book gives broader audiences access to the nearly 300 artworks on view to the public every day at the University of Houston System.
