As part of an ongoing exhibition program curated and project managed by Weingarten Art Group, we worked with Austin-based sculptor Melissa Borrell to realize a site-specific installation in the lobby of CityCentre Four. A concept Borrell was eager to realize, Garden Variety is an exploration of color, form, and scale. Almost topographical in design, this installation references Borrell’s interest in organic systems, landscapes, and botanical elements that are often bounded by human desires.
