The Weingarten Art Group met this avid art collector after he had already acquired a number of art pieces, but the overall direction of the collection lacked purpose and cohesiveness. After developing a catalogue of the art, WAG shifted the client’s priorities to editing his holdings while searching for art investments of higher profile and potential. While considering the client’s budget, WAG’s approach was to maximize his resources, which benefited from our firm’s global expertise.

WAG also prioritized the way the art was displayed in his contemporary residence, decluttering walls to afford the works space to breathe. The less-is-more approach saw his collection revised to include works by Richard Serra, Joseph Havel, Maxwell Hendler, Ellsworth Kelly and Jeremy Deprez.
