Ground-breaking Hermann Park installation

There is a wonderful new installation in Hermann Park by Abinadi Meza, a University of Houston Assistant Professor. Meza’s Vein of Sky sources environmental data from the park’s surroundings – wind speeds, soil vibrations and light levels. The artist organized the material gathered into streams of numbers that he then translated into an ambient sound.
