A major West Coast financial management firm contacted Weingarten Art Group to curate a selection of artwork for their newly-established and modern Austin headquarters. A primary goal was to reflect the firm’s mission through the artwork selections, placing a strong focus on regional Texas artists and artwork that was ecologically responsible.

We commissioned Austin-based artist Melissa Borrell for a two-story wall-mounted sculpture in the main atrium area which would captivate employees and visitors alike. Inspired both by Texas Hill Country topology and the visual graphics of cyclical financial markets, the three dimensional piece offers changing views as one passes across various vantage points. 

We turned to photographers Kathryn Rabinow and Dan Joyce for iconic Texas imagery and also commissioned a mixed media composition by Austin-based Stella Alesi to welcome visitors as they enter the reception area.
