New York City Residence

  • Project Type // Private
  • Artist // John Zurier, Scoli Acosta, An-My Lê and Andrew Masullo
  • Location // Greenwich Village

After a sophisticated, erudite and art-loving couple thoroughly renovated a five-story brownstone in Greenwich Village, New York, they sought to complement their understated architectural style with a highly curated art collection. Private consultations that included gallery visits and travels to local and international art fairs revealed that the client had a penchant for investing in younger talent, particularly figurative work, and placing these vibrant works in prominent spaces in their home alongside more established artists.

Included in this exquisite collection are works by well-established artists Richard Avedon, El Anatsui and Andrew Masullo; mid-career artists such as Joe Havel and Cary Leibowitz; and younger artists such as Scolia Acosta, An-My Le and Dike Blair.
