This project was brought to Weingarten Art Group by one of our longtime, high-end designer partners. The client is highly visual, leaning toward works with high color and strong graphic lines. Her home, a new construction in the River Oaks area in Houston, is an airy and well-lit contemporary space with a few key feature walls we knew would require high-impact works. The client was interested in commissioning site-specific works for the house, so we visited several studio artists and sourced proposals for concepts that would transform the space.

For the client, Weingarten Art Group ultimately curated a vibrant collection of works from several premier artists to appoint her polished home. The cavernous living space’s crisp architecture and monochromatic interior is warmed and emboldened by carefully selected and precisely placed pieces. The artworks add a richness and personal touch to the house, which is best exemplified in the piece “Pay Day” by Aaron Parazette, which was created for the client’s daughter.
